Cochin Trip part-2

Continuation from part-1.....      if u haven't seen the part-1 please check this link:  https://alastair09.blogspot.com/2020/03/cochin-trip-part-1.html We took a ferry from Fort Kochi to vypin island to reach Vallarpadam. vehicles loaded in the ferry       we had taken a ferry to reach vypin island from fort kochi.There are various rates for the ticket for people,and for vehicles depending upon the size of the vehicle.It was around 10 minutes of ferry ride. National shrine of our Lady Of Ransom Vallarpadam      This was another church which we visited.This a place has a different history.The various miracles took place here.one can climb the tower by stairs or elevator,which gives a nice view of the entire area from the top and look at various backwaters and sea.This is a spiritual place for prayers too.This place got his national shrine status in the year 2004. Cochin Trip part 1

Itineary for cochin trip          I would like to share my travel moments during my trip you can consider this as an itineary. i would be posting some destinations i have visited.  So i spent 2 days in cochin. Day 1- Fort kochi:      you can reach fort kochi from ernakulam through ferry or by road.If one travels by ferry it would take less time compared to road after all it depends upon the crowd.So there are various places to visit in fort kochi from the time of British,dutch,portuguese etc.   1:paradesi synagogue               This place is located at the jew street in fort kochi.This of the oldest and active synagogue .This is a place for worship for Jews. It is called pardesi because it is inherited from other nation.This place is open on weekdays and on Fridays upto 2:00 pm ,and saturday its closed.There is also spices street,and antique market  .This historic places gives pleasent atmosphere.Ticket price might be around Rs.5 per head. 2.Matta
